Privacy Policy

Who we are

At Whole School Mindfulness we value our friends and associates and respect your rights to privacy. We aim to keep your data safe at all times. This policy explains how we do this.

The type of data we collect

We collect data in several different ways and for several different reasons. Please find below a list of the places we store data lists, the type of data we store, and the ways in which we use it.

Please note that if you choose, for any reason, not to allow us to use your personal data (as is your right) it may result in a less efficient or accurate service to you.

Website cookies

Cookies are simple text files that typically contain two pieces of information: a site name and unique user ID. When you visit a site that uses cookies for the first time, a cookie is downloaded onto your computer. The next time you visit that site, your computer checks to see if it has a cookie that is relevant (that is, one containing the site name) and sends the information back to the site. The site then ’knows’ that you have been there before, and in some cases, tailors what pops up on screen to take account of that fact. As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.

Content

Content on our site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

WholeSchool may provide links on our website to other sites. These sites operate independently of WholeSchool and have established their own privacy and security policies. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read these policies at any site you visit.

Google Analytics

When someone visits our website, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is anonymous, and we do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing lists

We collect email addresses in order to let you know about news and events related to WholeSchool. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organizations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our emails. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks to help us monitor and improve our emails. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting us through our contact page.

Data retention

We retain the personal data we collect for so long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected, to perform our contractual and legal obligations, and for any applicable statute of limitations periods for the purposes of bringing and defending claims.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, trade, exchange, or otherwise make available any individual information to any other company or organization.
